is a cuvée made from vines of Chenin Blanc planted on clay-limestone terroirs by carefully respecting the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture.
The grapes are harvested manually then directly pressed before being fermented only with of indigenous yeasts. The wine is then aged for 24 months in barrels of oak.
Les Chesnaies is expressed on notes of autumn fruits such as pears, apples or quince, accompanied by brittle notesAniseed flavours and a little honeyed. The attack is frank, the mouth is full, fatty and complex, delighting our palate for long minutes.
It is a rich wine It can be served with dishes that are just as good, such as blanquette de veau or monkfish with cream sauce. It can also be enjoyed with good semi-dry goat's cheese, preferably from the region!
The Domaine de Béatrice et Pascal Lambert is located in Cravant les Coteaux, a few kilometres from Chinon in the Loire Valley.
Concerned to respect the identities of the different terroirs as much as possible, the biodynamics has naturally imposed itself on the estate in order to create a harmony between the plant, its soil, and its environment.
Today, the estate covers 18 hectares in Cravant les Coteaux and Chinon where the region's emblematic grape varieties are grown: the cabernet franc for reds and rosés and chenin for white people.
