Is a blend of hand-harvested Riesling, Sylvaner and Pinot Gris grapes, de-stemmed and sorted before a 20-day skin contact maceration. They are then pressed and sent for natural fermentation using indigenous yeasts without any input.
The wine is then matured for 10 months in casks, again without any inputs.
The maceration of the whole grapes gives it an orange colour like grape juice, although connoisseurs of the previous vintage will notice that the colour is a little more red this year.
The nose is very expressive with floral notes and ripe fruits; the ample and greedy mouth is marked by a beautiful acidic framework.
This wine should be drunk at cellar temperature (too cold and the aromas will be closed). It is perfect for convivial moments: as an aperitif or with tapas and cheese.
