Pinot Blanc 2018 from Domaine Gross is made from Pinot Blanc from the Loess (limestone silt) terroirs located at the bottom of the hillsides and raised according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture. The grapes are harvested by hand, pressed for 10 hours and then matured on their lees for 8 months.
Pinot Blanc 2019 expresses floral, white fruit and peach notes. The palate is frank, with a slight sweetness bringing greediness and balanced by a hint of acidity bringing freshness.
It can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif, with cold starters or white meats, it's the perfect ally for any occasion!
Domaine Gross is located in the heart of Alsace, a few kilometres from Colmar, in the commune of Gueberschwihr. It is a family estate, taken over in 1980 by Rémy and Vincent from their parents. It is in a family spirit that Rémy and Vincent cultivate today the 10 hectares of vineyard managed in biodynamics.
