Gewurztraminer Rebgarten from Domaine Gross is made from gewurztraminer grapes grown on limestone soil and cultivated according to the principles of biodynamic viticulture. They are harvested at full maturity, pressed slowly and then fermented naturally using indigenous yeasts. The wine will then be aged on total lees in tuns for 10 months, then filtered before bottling.
This Gewurztraminer Rebgarten reveals a beautiful aromatic complexity on ntoes of flowers, fruits and spices. On the palate, it is full with notes of raisins and spices, while keeping a nice freshness.
It can be enjoyed as an aperitif, with mature cheeses or fruit desserts.
Domaine Gross is located in the heart of Alsace, a few kilometres from Colmar, in the commune of Gueberschwihr. It is a family estate, taken over in 1980 by Rémy and Vincent from their parents. It is in a family spirit that Rémy and Vincent cultivate today the 10 hectares of vineyard managed in biodynamics.

The biodynamic Gewurztraminer grapes of this cuvée are harvested at full maturity and then slowly pressed for a minimum of 20 hours before a totally natural fermentation using indigenous yeasts. The wine is then matured for 10 months on total lees in tuns, before being filtered and bottled in July 2016.

This semi-dry wine develops complex aromas of flowers, fruit and spices. On the palate we find notes of raisins and spices.
