Since 2001, Xavier Benier has been living in the commune of Saint-Julien, near the Brouilly appellation. He runs a 6.5 hectare estate with passion and great commitment. Working with the requirement of a clean viticulture, the winegrower excludes insecticides and fertilizers and favours the ploughing of the soil as well as the use of copper and sulphur. Minimalism in his cellar interventions, Xavier Benier produces wines vinified in the most natural way possible.
