Abracadabra Rouge is a cuvée made from Syrah, Grenache and Carignan grapes grown in organic farming on clay-limestone soils. The grapes are vinified in stainless steel vats, plot by plot and variety by variety, each macerating for 30 days in vats with gentle extractions before being aged in the same vats to retain all the freshness.
Abracadabra Rouge develops intense notes of spices, liquorice, very ripe black fruits and some floral notes. The palate is fleshy with beautiful fruity and spicy aromas, the tannins are fine, an easy drinking wine but with the character we love in Languedoc wines.
The Domaine Le Chemin des Rêves takes its name from a small path that runs alongside the vines and which was given this name by a local woman who used to walk along it every day. It is this same path that Benoît Viot, a former Phamarcian in the industry and passionate about wine, took. He travelled a lot because of his job and spent 10 years trying to understand how to make wine, so much so that he was making wine in his bathroom when he lived in England. He trained for 2 years in 2004 and then gradually bought vineyards in the Pic Saint Loup and the Grès de Montpellier to now own 20 hectares of vines all organically grown and certified.
