Château Talbot 1945

1945, a legendary vintage! The harvest was tiny, due to a catastrophic spring frost for the vineyard. An exceptionally hot and dry summer, followed by a period of drought, resulted in phenomenal concentration.

Most of the great châteaux produced wines of incredible richness and extraordinary longevity. Tannic, powerful and concentrated, the great wines of this vintage are still dazzling today.

Château Talbot 1945 is still today, powerful, peppery, structured, still dynamic, and finishes with notes of old roses. Impressive!
