Toutes Voiles Dehors 2020 - Le Petit Clou des Vents

As its name suggests, Toutes Voiles Dehors is a oxidative wine made only from 15 year old Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on a clay-limestone plateau.

Les raisins ont été ramassés manuellement, puis envoyés dans des cuves résine. Après macération, les raisins sont pressés à l'aide d'un petit pressoir vertical.

Après l'élevage habituel que Sylvain applique sur sa cuvée A l'Ouest de mon Sud Blanc, il n'était pas satisfait du résultat.

Après 1 an d'élevage sous voile, à déguster régulièrement, Sylvain était satisfait de ce qu'était devenu son vin et créa cette cuvée inédite Toutes Voiles Dehors.

This wine lets express notes of honey, candied apricot, citrus fruits but also oxidative notes like walnut.

The attack in the mouth is marked by tension with a nice fatness in the middle.

Si l'oxydation est bien présente avec ses délicates notes typiques de noix, elle n'est pas exubérante et laisse la place à une grande fraicheur.

C'est le vin idéal pour les débutant en vin oxydatif.

Le Petit Clou des Vents - Sylvain Jougla - Soumensac

Domaine le Petit Clou des Vents is a small wine estate founded in 2011 by Sylvain Jougla and his wife Lucile. The estate is located in Soumensac in the Lot et Garonne in the Duras appellation.

Sylvain Jougla is a native winemaker from Béziers who makes very nice and atypical natural wines by intervening as little as possible during the vinification process, using indigenous yeasts.

All the vines, with a total surface area of 3.5 hectares, are cultivated using organic and biodynamic methods, with intensive time spent working the soil to optimise the quality of the wines.
