Tallareta is one of the natural vintages of the estate, whose vines are planted in the heart of a natural bird reserve. It is made from Pansa Rosada (Xarel-lo Vermell) grapes after harvesting, they are put in pre-fermentation maceration in the press at 10°C for 8 hours, then very lightly pressed and sent for spontaneous fermentation without input in an ovoid cement vat made of clay (Oeuf de Beaune) allowing the free movement of the lees, ideal for benefiting from a "natural bâtonnage" (natural stirring).
The nose reveals intense fruity aromas of strawberry, pink grapefruit and citrus fruits combined with interesting floral notes. The palate is lively, fruity and fresh, full on the palate with good acidity, salty notes and a slight tannic sensation, leaving a long and persistent aftertaste.
Alta Alella is the result of the family project of Josep Maria Pujol-Busquets and Cristina Guillén Soldevila, born more than 20 years ago. It is located between the villages of Tiana and Alella, in the middle of the privileged agricultural area of the Serralada de Marina Natural Park. The vineyards overlook the Mediterranean Sea, which is less than 2 kilometres away, and have been organically farmed since the arrival of Josep Maria. Their aim is to produce transparent wines where the authentic expression of the terroir and climate is reflected in each of their wines. Today the estate covers 50 hectares with typical and even forgotten grape varieties of the region.
