Pulpa 2020 du Château Siaurac

Is a slightly different cuvee from Château Siaurac, made from 70% of Merlot and 30% of Malbec planted in 2009 on sandy-clay soils. The grapes were hand-picked and the varieties vinified separately without sulphur.

Château Siaurac in Néac (33)

With its 46 hectares almost in one piece, in the extension of the plateau of Pomerol in Néac, Château Siaurac is the largest and most emblematic of the properties of the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation.

Close to the confluence of the Isle and Dordogne rivers, and protected to the south-west by the Fronsac hillock, the appellation is influenced by the Atlantic Ocean and benefits from a sunny climate with hot, dry summers followed by beautiful back seasons favourable to the ripening of the grapes.

The estate has no less than 40 distinct plots of gravel, deep clay or clayey sand, cultivated according to their own characteristics, providing the possibility of complementary blends by optimising the impact of the vintages. The vineyard is made up of 75% of Merlot, 20% of Cabernet Franc and 5% of Malbec.
