PB is based on Pansa Blanca. After destemming the bunches, the grapes undergo a short skin maceration at low temperature, followed by a light pressing and then the juice is fermented for 15 days at 22°C in stainless steel tanks and then directly bottled.
The nose is intense with predominantly floral aromas of pear and apple mixed with subtle notes of fresh almonds, herbs and ripe lemon. On the palate, freshness predominates, recalling the aromas of ripe white fruit with a salty note, good acidity and lingering length.
Alta Alella is the result of the family project of Josep Maria Pujol-Busquets and Cristina Guillén Soldevila, born more than 20 years ago. It is located between the villages of Tiana and Alella, in the middle of the privileged agricultural area of the Serralada de Marina Natural Park. The vineyards overlook the Mediterranean Sea, which is less than 2 kilometres away, and have been organically farmed since the arrival of Josep Maria. Their aim is to produce transparent wines where the authentic expression of the terroir and climate is reflected in each of their wines. Today the estate covers 50 hectares with typical and even forgotten grape varieties of the region.
