Château Beynat is a century-old property and is now in the hands of Alain Tourenne, a passionate winegrower committed to respecting the environment. Château Beynat is located in Sainte Magne de Castillon, and covers 14 hectares cultivated in biodynamic farming. Alain doesn't stop at the traditional viticultural and winemaking practices, he is constantly thinking about creating new processes and new potions, each one more ridiculous than the last, and each time it works, earning him the nickname of "Magician Winemaker".
The cuvée Terre à Terre is one of Alain's special and confidential cuvees, made up of 100% of Merlot harvested only by hand. The grapes are then sorted on the table thanks to Alain's innovative density sorting system called Flotatrie. The grapes are then vinified directly as whole berries in Tuscan clay jars with cap punching and vatting for 30 days, then the wine will be aged in these same jars for 12 months.
This wine comes directly to our nostrils with notes of fresh berries, which we find in the mouth with an incredible fleshy side and a lot of freshness.
It is a rich wine that will go well with grilled meats such as magret or tournedos.
