The Château du Champ des Treilles is located in Margueron, in the Entre-Deux-Mers region, on the edge of the Côtes de Gascogne. This château belongs to Corinne Comme and her husband Jean-Michel-Comme, former manager of Château Pontet-Canet (Grand Cru classé de Pauillac). The vineyard covers 10 hectares and is biodynamic.
Cuvée Petit Champ 2018 is a blend of 63% of Merlot, 20% of Cabernet Franc, 9% of Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% of Petit Verdot grown on a clay-limestone terroir. The wine is then aged in stainless steel vats.
The wine is characterized by notes of red and black fruits. On the palate, the tannic and olfactory sensations are such that one has the impression of biting into the ripe bunch. It is a red wine of great pleasure.
Enjoy as an aperitif, with grilled vegetables or mixed salads.
