is a blend of 70% of Xinomavro and 30% of Cabernet Sauvignon grown organically in Bidabla, in the Goumenissa region on sandy-clay soils.
The two grape varieties are macerated separately with the skins until the desired colour is obtained and then they undergo alcoholic fermentation at low temperature.
They are then blended and the final wine remains in contact with the lees for 3 months before bottling.
CHLOE is a rosé wine with a rich bouquet of red fruits such as wild strawberry, cherry and blueberry with elegant notes of fresh herbs.
The mouthfeel is perfectly balanced with rich flavours and crisp acidity, resulting in a clean, smooth finish. Best served chilled between 8 and 10⁰C.

The Chatzivaritis estate has 12 hectares of organic vineyards in northern Greece and offers a range of wines made mainly from endemic Greek grape varieties: Xinomavro, Roditis, Negoska, Assyrtiko!
It all started with love... when Vagelis Chatzivaritis met his future wife Olga Iakovidou in 1981. She was from Goumenissa, a place with a long tradition of winemaking.
As a wine lover himself and a man who also appreciated gastronomy and the simple pleasures of life, he began to make his own wine, to be enjoyed in the company of his good friends and close relatives.
The local story goes that the indigenous Greek varieties of Xinomavro and Negoska from which Goumenissa Chatzivaritis P.D.O. is produced, was the wine of choice of Philip, King of Macedonia, father of Alexander the Great
