Born To Be Wild, pronounced to the tune of the famous Steppenwolf song of course, is a wine made from Bobal, an emblazoned grape variety of the Valencian region but not often used as a single variety. The vines are cultivated organically at an altitude of over 700 metres and enjoy a continental climate which produces grapes with a highly concentrated juice. This same juice is then aged for 9 months in French and American oak barrels to produce a rich, powerful and tannic wine.

A rocker's wine, racy and full-bodied with notes of ripe black fruit, morello cherry and caramel brought by the barrel.

It can be enjoyed in a good mood with a good Italian pasta dish, or a nice piece of beef, while listening to Born To Be Wild if you like!

The original concept of Wines N' Roses comes from the will of Spanish producers to put the terroir of La Font de Figuera in the province of Valencia in the spotlight: magnificent clay-limestone soils poor in organic matter where the Mediterranean climate creates a perfect atmosphere for the production of powerful and racy wines.
Here we are not talking about a vineyard but about a "stage" where the grape varieties are "artists" honoured not by a team but by a "group" creating not a range but "hits".
The metaphor runs through all the vintages of the old rock classics: Born to be Wild, Sympathy for the Devil or Highway to Hell.
