Abracadabra Red is a cuvée made from Syrah, Grenache and Carignan grown organically on clay-limestone soils. The grapes are vinified in stainless steel vats plot by plot and grape variety by grape variety, each macerating for 30 days in vats with gentle extractions before being aged in these same vats to preserve all the freshness.
Abracadabra Red develops intense notes of spices, liquorice, very ripe black fruits and some floral notes. The mouth is fleshy with beautiful fruity and spicy aromas, the tannins are fine, an easy drinking wine but with the character we like in Languedoc wines.
The Domaine Le Chemin des Rêves takes its name from a small path that runs along the vineyards and which was nicknamed by a woman from the village who used to walk along it every day. It is the same path that Benoît Viot, a former Phamarcien in the industry and passionate about wine, took. He travelled a lot because of his job and spent 10 years trying to understand how to make wine, so much so that he used to make wine in his bathroom when he lived in England. He followed a 2 year training course in 2004 and then bought vines in the Pic Saint Loup and the Grès de Montpellier area to today own 20 hectares of vines all grown and certified organic.
